Cars cost some money to get, and they come with many parts that could stop working if not well taken care for. That hasn’t stopped people from being lazy though, too lazy to take care of their vehicles. Taking care of your car has its advantages; such as your car performing better and costing you less money.

Here some tips that should be followed in order to keep your car in tip top shape.

    Change Your Oil

The engine oil lubricates all the moving parts of the car engine. Without this some of those moving parts will grind against each other and will cost you more money to get fixed. So change your oil every 5000miles to 7, 500 miles.

    Clean Your Car Regularly

This includes both inside and outside. You don’t want someone sitting in your car and your seat belt stains the person or worse before the person leaves your car. Leaving dust and grime in your interior will overtime wear it out. It would look older than it should, thereby reducing the resale value.

    Check Your Tyre Pressure

This should be done ideally every month, because that’s about the amount of time it takes for your car tyre to lose about 1psi of pressure. So get a home kit, so that you can top it off, whenever the pressure drops. Don’t forget to rotate your tyre also, so that they all wear out evenly. You want to get the most out of your Sumitomo tyres before having to replacing them.

    Check Your Brake Pads

The brakes of a car are too important to be taken for granted. Their prompt response can be the difference between safety and the emergency room for you. After driving 25,000 miles, you should change your brake pads, or when they have started wearing out.

Change Your Car Air Filter at least Once a Year

The car’s air filters are almost like the gills of the fish. It traps dirt and debris, preventing them from reaching your engine. Not cleaning them or changing them can cause your engine to fail. If that happens, you’ll be spending so much money.

    Change Your Tyres

When the tread bars on your tyres become visible, it means that it’s time to change the tyres. While you’re doing this, don’t forget to save the best of your four tyres for spare.  A very easy way to purchase good tires dubai online is to check www.dubaityreshop.com.

    Save Your Car Maintenance Receipts

This is important as it helps give the mechanic a history of your car maintenance.  So instead of having to wrack your brain about the last time you aligned your wheel or changed the plugs, the car receipt will show everything. This will make it easier for the mechanic.

    Don’t Ignore Warning Signals.

You know those warning signals that appear on the dashboard of modern cars, they are for your car health. Ignore them at your peril. Whenever you see such warnings take action as soon as possible. This could save you a lot of money.
