The upcoming 2020 model year edition of Panamera is going to hit the dealership very soon, with its new avatar after Porsche has given it a significant facelift. As heard from a reputed sports car dealer, it is expected to be rolling on the roads at the end of this year.

What Will Come with the 2020 Lineup

After the recent celebration of the tenth anniversary of the launch of Panamera, rumors are spreading in a fast pace thatPorsche is all set to expand the 2020 lineup of this model with the introduction of new coupe and convertible versions, while the regular version will be heightened with a new facelift. All these changes will bring the 2020 Panamera an appearance that will speak of a more dynamic character of this car, and of course none should think that Porsche will do good to the 2020 Panamera lineup only at the cosmetic level. Saying that, we mean that the 2020 Porsche Panamera is most likely to get things better under its hood as well.

    Powertrain Enhancements

As the rumors say, that Porsche is going to introduce a mild-hybrid powertrain for the 2020 lineup of Panamera for the first time. The S and 4S trim models will continue to stay in the lineup that will use the same 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 engine as before, but the upgrade they are going to receive is making place for a 48-volt electrical architecture to support the fuel system, bringing down the necessity to invest in the costly gasoline too often.

This newly introduced mild-hybrid system, that will also usean integrated motor generator in order to harvest the power of electric is sure to increase its overall performance efficiency while reducing its carbon footprint.

Expect in the upcoming 2020 Panamera model range to be driven by a 2.9-liter turbocharged V6 engine that can produce an impressive 325 hp along with an equally tall 332 lb-ft of torque at the base level while the S trim will run on a twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6 engine making still higher horsepower count of 434 and 406 lb-ft of torque. By reaching the one step higher GTS trim, the 2020 Panamera will rule the roads with the power of a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine that can throw 454 of hp and 457 lb-ft of torque. Finally driving the top of the range Panamera Turbo will let you play with a whopping 542 hp and 568 lb-ft of torque.

    Luxurious Interior Accents

Inside, the new 2020 Porsche Panameraall the components will show up as the most dated ones while the layout speaks of the refined taste of the automaker that has been leading the industry in terms of quality, performance and artistic designs. Like all other new Porsche models, the 2020 model year of Panamera will be technologically upgraded as well that will match the latest design changes and driver assist features.
